Windows 8 Keyboard Shortcuts

Press the Windows key to open the Start screen or switch to the Desktop (if open). Press the Windows key + D To open the Windows Desktop. Press the Windows key + . to pin and unpin Windows apps on the side of the screen. Press the Windows key + X to open the power user menu,( Device Manager and Command Prompt...........). Press the Windows key + C to open the Charms (The tiles window). Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings, which is the same Settings found in Charms. Press and hold the Windows key + Tab to show open apps. Press the Windows key + Print screen to create a screen shot, which is automatically saved into your My Pictures folder.

Yahoo May Acquire Tumblr for $1 billion

 There are reports from many sources that, Yahoo! Inc. is in a serious talk with the social blogging website, Tumblr, Adweek today reported that this deal with go high as $ 1 billion. Yahoo needs to rise and wants to engage better in its audience, Tumblr is so famous in youngster specially in between 18 to 24, so Tumblr is well-suited for brand advertising, Marissa Meyer, the chief executive of Yahoo! Knows it very well. "Tumblr is finally starting to really monetize but expectations are very high from the board, particularly newer investors who came in at a very high price," said by a venture capital expert. Big advertisement sale by Yahoo could help Tumblr to ramp up their sales and gets many new customers. The talks is going on between two companies, the deal expected to happen by this weekend. Google CEO Page: 'We're only at one percent of what's possible'

SAN FRANCISCO---Google CEO Larry Page said that technology isn't a zero sum game and that the focus needs to be on "building great things that don't exist." He advocated that technology leaders "do something crazy" and push boundaries. "Every time we have done something crazy we've pushed boundaries," he said. Page, who has had voice troubles, took the Google I/O stage to a warm reception. Page's appearance came one day after describing his health maladies via Google Plus. Page took a high road, talked technology advancements and dinged rivals in places for lack of open standards.  For instance, Page said he was disappointed that Microsoft decided to meld Google's instant messaging protocols and didn't reciprocate. Google Maps revamp promotes ads and personalises details

Google has unveiled a new version of its Maps web service, which it says has been "rebuilt from the ground up". The redesign aims to  personalise the product , deciding what to label to best match each user's interests. It also features new icons highlighting businesses running ads and promotions, which overlay the map. This may make the maps more attractive to advertisers who have tended to focus on Google's main search page and rival platforms. BlackBerry announces BBM for iPhone, Android due this summer ...

BlackBerry is making its Messenger (BBM) real-time messaging service available on Apple's iPhone and iPad and Google's Android platforms from summer, abandoning the platform exclusivity that had for years been a crucial tool in attracting and retaining users. Announcing the move at the company's developer conference, software vice president Andrew Bocking said: "the time is definitely right for BBM to become a multi-platform mobile service. BBM has always been one of the most engaging services for BlackBerry customers, enabling them to easily connect while maintaining a valued level of personal privacy. We're excited to offer iOS and Android users the possibility to join the BBM community."
